The following year, the Stanley twins introduced the Model K, featuring a 26 inch boiler driving the 30 horsepower, two-cylinder steam engine.
The Stanley factory produced only 25 Model Ks between 1907-1909 and only three factory-built Model Ks survive today. However, enough original parts survived that numerous people have created cars that meet the design and performance of the Model K using authentic Stanley parts. This Stanley Model K is one of many created by Carl Amsley in the 1960s and 1970s.
