1925 Harley-Davidson Model JD

1925 Harley-Davidson Model JD

By 1920, Harley-Davidson Motor Company was the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world, with more than 2,000 dealers in 67 countries. During the 1925 production year, the company standardized many innovations and design changes, most notably with the inclusion of their iconic teardrop gas tank on all motorcycles. It was also the first year their bikes were made without a loop frame since 1903. Despite all the improvements, the 1925 JD sold for $335, the same price as the 1924 version.
